SahajLife is an educational Ayurvedic wellness app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app uses, how it is handled, and your rights.
Your Prakriti (constitution) profile and Vikriti (current imbalance) assessment results are saved locally on your device only using browser/app localStorage. No data is transmitted to any server owned or operated by SahajLife.
With your permission, SahajLife accesses your device location only to determine:
1. Your hemisphere (Northern or Southern) — for seasonal Ayurvedic guidance.
2. Local temperature — fetched from Open-Meteo, a free, open-source weather API.
Your GPS coordinates are used only for this single weather request and are never stored, shared, or transmitted to SahajLife or any third party beyond the Open-Meteo API call.
SahajLife does not require sign-up, login, or any personal information. No name, email, phone number, or identity is collected at any time.
SahajLife does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or any other third-party tracking tools. Your health and wellness data is never shared with, sold to, or accessed by any third party.
You can delete all data stored by SahajLife at any time using the "Delete All My Data" button in the Profile tab. This permanently erases your Prakriti profile, Vikriti history, and all cached data, and resets the app to its initial state.
You may also clear app data directly through your device settings (iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → SahajLife → Delete App, then reinstall).
SahajLife is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
